Ramzi Theory

What is the Ramzi theory?

Ramzi theory is all based on the location of the placenta.

“Ramzi’s method is using placenta/chorionic villi location as a marker for fetal gender detection at 6 weeks gestation was found to be highly reliable. This method correctly predicts the fetus gender in 97.2% of males and 97.5% of females early in the first trimester.”

For more information you can see the official study below:

This theory is most accurate between 6-8weeks.

Tips

1)Ask your sonographer which side your placenta is on - if it's on the right then it's likely you'll have a boy and if it's on the left it's likely it's a girl.

2)Look out for the bright white area around the sac as this is likely to be where the placenta is going to start growing.

3) For an transvaginal scan hold the ultrasound image against you and that is the true side which your placenta is on, for an abdominal scan it is likely you need to flip the image in order to get an accurate result.
